Born and bred in Franklin, Pa. (north of Pittsburgh). Graduated Clarion State College in 1982 with a Master's in Library Science.

Came to the Bronx 22 years ago to work on the staff of "Social Sciences Index" for the H.W. Wilson publishing company where I am now the assistant editor of this publication.

My professional life is so exciting (NOT!) that I mostly live my life mostly through my hobbies.

I am married to a man who shares my interests in choral singing and all things dealing with classical music. He's the one with the additional degree in music on top of a Master's in Library Science. I'm the one with amateur aspirations to musicology and actually know certain topics in music better than Mr. Music Degree Husband which sometimes annoys him.

He does not understand my recent obsession with "Hellboy" (both the movie and the comic).
